The 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates end their Crazy 48's league record of 10 consecutive losses, with a victory over the 93' Giants. Roberto Clemente's two-run single in the top of the ninth would be key, as he went a perfect 5-for-5 (all singles) to help lead the Bucs, along with Don Hoak's 2-for-3 performance with a triple & 3 runs. The Giants' Barry Bonds hit HR #5.

Kenny Lofton led the 95' tribe, going 3-for-5, with a triple, SB & two runs. Philley finished the game, 2-for-5, with a double, HR & 2 RBI.
