The Boys of Summer Blog now has an APBA Online League, we are checking out all applications to the league, and we still have teams slots to be filled for potential owners.
Do you think you are capable of being an owner/GM to lead
your team to a World Championship? Must possess the hunger to scout &
manage in-game situations as well.
Requirements are: APBA Baseball for Windows (BBW) 5.75
(Upgrade 10), which can be bought from the APBA Games site. It costs $20, and comes
with the 1921, 1961, 2011 MLB Seasons (a great value). When you officially apply to the site itself, the APBA Online charges $16 for one token to play in league; or $25 for 5 tokens (which you can play in other leagues, mine at the moment is the only current league or a token to start your own.) If you don't make it through the application process, you get to use your token elsewhere -- You can apply simply to me, via email and if we get to a point where I think you are right for the league, then I can have you apply officially (charged) on the site.
The league is starting with the 2012 season (at the time of
purchase for the league, the 2013 season wasn't available... but now is), and
will be followed by a short off-season as we will then play the 2013 season. This DOES NOT mean that you need to purchase the 2012 APBA season (don't buy -- since I own the season, and the commish files are being sent by me).

- 16-teams, 156 game-season
- DH-Rule for both leagues.
- Division winners + one wild card from each league go to the playoffs
- Annual rookie drafts
